Jean-Claude DEQUÉANT

Among all the artists who supported this project, Jean-Claude Dequéant occupies a special place…

During his prolific career as a songwriter, Jean-Claude Dequéant collaborated with numerous artists, including Renaud, Alain Souchon, Yves Simon, Violette Vial, Anne Meson…

In 1985, he composed the song « Libertine », which definitively – and lastingly – launched the career of its performer, the very young Mylène Farmer : more than 300,000 records were sold in a few weeks. In his studio Le Matin Calme, he will then record and arrange, for her, her first album « Cendres de Lune », which will sell more than 700,000 copies ! Everyone knows how things have evolved…

In 2023, it is with immense kindness and friendship that he gives us the most beautiful gift. A great witness to the project, he authorized us to use this emblematic music (some would even say « iconic » !) to record the song En Routine, on the original instrumental version.

He shares his impressions on the project in this exceptional interview.
